RADA graduate Samuel Valentine scooped the Spotlight Prize in July 2014, competing against 20 other young actors with a three minute performance in front of a panel of judges including Hayley Atwell, Joanna Scanlan, Lesley Manville, Noel Clarke and Lucy Bevan.

Last year's winner Mimi Ndiweni is currently a cast member at the Royal Shakespeare Company, while other past winners include Dame Judi Dench, Jim Broadbent and Zoë Wanamaker. Valentine is now looking ahead to signing with an agency and taking the next step in his acting career, with his RADA performance credits including There & Back, The Witch of Edmonton and High Society.
